Boho Wedding Inspiration
Living in California, it's so easy to be inspired, especially on days like this shoot! The moody backdrop of the cliffs against the water was like a daydream.
I can't get enough of El Matador State Beach as a backdrop for this stunning beach bride. If you're searching for some bohemian elements to add to your wedding, this shoot incorporated some of my favorites.
The mid-century modern pieces, paired with gauzy fabrics like our gray table runner shown here, help bring this boho vision to life.
The gray of the fabric brings so much depth to the deep ocean blues and the brightness of the cliffs. I can't get enough!
What's your favorite part of the shoot?

May Mood Board
Can you believe it’s almost May? I’m excited for some May flowers and of course, all the beautiful weddings!
If you need a little inspiration for your spring wedding planning, hopefully this mood board helps! Some of my favorite aspects to include in spring weddings are bright colors, light fabrics (like this blush runner and this stunningly romantic rosette chiffon tablecloth), and as many flower centerpieces as possible!

Green & Gold
Last month, I joined up with a few other vendors to host a St. Patrick's Day shoot, inspired by Pantone's color of the year: Greenery.
We held the shoot at The Lighthouse - a venue I adore! This styled shoot gives me inspiration for many weddings and even a sweet elopement ceremony and I hope it inspires you too.
I used our gold velvet linens to highlight the actual greenery we used in the shoot and to compliment the gorgeous, mint green invitations as well as the gold accessories throughout the shoot. Don't be afraid to mix different shades of the same color as long as it looks intentional and not like they just didn't match! The pops of gold here helps tie the darker green of the florals and the mint together.
The golden candlesticks next to the gold velvet is a glamorous combination for any wedding - even this intimate ceremony! The velvet tablescape with the gold flatware adds an extra luxurious feel to the setting.
Speaking of tablescapes - we chatted about table runners last week and I love this combination we used here with a mint cloth and sparkly runner to add a little further interest to the table. Mixing linen textures is a great way to tie colors and themes together without looking repetitive.

What is your favorite way to mix linen textures? Would you use two shades of the same color like in this shoot?

Trend Alert: Spring Wedding Runners!
It’s officially spring now and if you’re a spring, summer, or fall bride, linens are probably on your mind!
There are a few trends that come back around each year for runners and these are our top favorites for this spring. With these choices, you can’t go wrong!
1. Chiffon:
This has been huge for a while and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down! A chiffon table runner, whether on all the tables or just a head/sweetheart, is the perfect way to bring some added glamour to your wedding without overwhelming your theme! It’s such a versatile fabric that it works for many different styles and can be easily draped and styled to fit any table.
2. Velvet:
This one is a little less common, but I think it has the most style! Velvet is so luxurious and elegant. It works in every season, depending on the color you choose. For spring and summer brides, the mauve color fits so well – like in this bohemian inspired wedding from Green Wedding Shoes. The maroon, emerald, or navy colors fit well for colder seasons like fall and winter.
3. Gauze:
This romantic ocean wedding shoot with one of our gauze runners perfectly exemplifies the airy, graceful vibe this runner can bring to your wedding tablescape!
4. Sequins:
These are our most popular runners and they fit for any season of the year. If your cake table needs a little extra sparkle or if you want to bring in an accent color with our champagne color or silver color (more colors available here), these are perfect! This sweet couple used some of our sequin linens in their wedding and I can't get enough of their pictures! (It was held at the Lighthouse - featured on our blog here!)
5. Lace:
These gorgeous, romantic lace runners can bring a rustic vibe to your wedding and add another layer of elegance. I love this French country themed shoot using our runners!
You can also mix and match all of these to create a unique flair for your wedding! If you've used any of these, we'd love to see pictures! Tag us on Facebook or Instagram to make sure we see it.
